A few weeks ago we blogged about how Google News personalization works. Now let's take a look at getting the most out of Google News feeds.
For one thing, you can get articles from your favorite news source directly on your iGoogle page. Here's what you need to do: perform a Google News search using our site: operator. In the results page click on the link "RSS" or "Atom" located on the lefthand side of your screen. You'll be taken to a new page that lets you choose where to receive this feed. You can add this feed to your iGoogle page, your favorite newsreader or another application you like.

◆英語の観点から
のっけから、英語の勉強にはイイ感じですねー。
(1) even more news
タイトルの"even" more newsは、比較級"more"を強める意味で使われています。
→"get vern more news"もっとたくさんニュースを取得する"くらいの意味でしょうか。
(2) we blogged about
通常なら、読み流す部分ですが、手持ちの英和辞典（大修館・ジーニアス英和辞典 第３版）を引いてみました。
"blog"という単語は載っていませんでした。。インタネットをご利用の多くの方はブログをご存知かと思いますが、
ここで使われる"blog"は、"ブログを書いた"という意味でしょうか: "We posted an article in our blog about ..."と書き直せますかね。
(3) get the most out of the Google News feeds
ちょっと難しいかも知れませんね。
・"get A out of B" で「BからAを引き出す」という意味があります。
ex) get a confession out of him" ：「彼から告白を引き出す」→「彼に白状させる」
・"the most" は"most"を名詞として使っています。意味は「もっとも多くのもの・こと」
ex) Bill ate 3 cakes, but Jack ate more, and John are the most.：「ビルはケーキを3つ食べ、ジャックはもっと、ジョンは一番たくさん食べた」
ということで、"get the most out of the Google News feeds"：「グーグル・ニュース・フィードから、最大限のものを引き出す」が直訳になります。
・・ 因みに、第２段落を読むと分かると思いますが、Googleの検索エンジンとRSS/Atomを組み合わせてニュースを引き出しましょう、ということが書 かれています。ということで、"get the most..."が分からなくても、一先ず読み進めれば、後から意味が分かることもある、、ということの例とも言えます。
第２段落は、また後日。
